Shipper & Receiver
About the role
JELD-WEN is seeking a Shipper & Receiver to join their team at American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of JELD-WEN. This position assists the Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to customers.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming loads
- Check shipping documents for correct customer information
- Operate propane and electric forklift vehicles
- Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
- Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product
- Pick/pull product from racks
- Aid in inventory cycle counts as needed
- Prepare and handle materials
- Stage and package finished product for delivery
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
Skills
Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and basic computer skills are essential.

Pay
Expected pay for this role is between $23,59 to $26,15 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
