Shipper

Responsibilities

• Packing and labeling of built items
• Receiving, recording, and distribution of incoming materials and hardware
• Checking material against orders and visually inspecting incoming materials
• Preparation of bills of lading, shipping records, proper box marking, and other shipping administrative tasks as required
• Preparing shipments for customers, both truckload shipping and pick up
• Aids with loading and unloading of trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform light lifting

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to use power tools including electrical, hydraulic and air powered industrial machines. High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. 2 or more years of Fabrication or Construction experience

The Cleveland Kawneer Service Center is located about 20 minutes from Downtown and 15 minutes from the airport. It offers convenient access to Interstates 71 and 480, entertainment, shopping, and restaurants. Home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland is located in northeastern Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie, approximately 60 miles west of the Pennsylvania border.
