SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid time off, a 401(k), and discounted meals. The role involves direct supervision of associates, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules
• Evaluate worker performance, rewarding high performers and disciplining underperformers
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity, and safety standards
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding complaints or time-off requests
• Act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage goal-setting and advancement
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous food service supervisory experience is preferred. No specific degree is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is needed.

Qualifications

Must have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team effectively.

Skills

Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is helpful.

Pay

$21.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, rotating shifts: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with days varying.
