SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
Location: Army Fort Drum - 11042 Mt. Belvedere Boulevard, Fort Drum, NY 13602
This position supports operations at a federal defense facility. In compliance with applicable federal national security requirements, employment in this role is limited by law to U.S. citizens. You must be able to verify U.S. citizenship at the time of hire.
About the role
Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Pay
Fixed pay rate: $21.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time schedule. 7-day operation with 2 shift options. Open daily from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. More details provided upon interview.
