SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

About the Role

We are hiring immediately for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position at Texas A&M University at Galveston, located at 200 Seawolf Parkway, Galveston, TX 77553. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is Monday - Friday, with shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Prior supervisory experience is required. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employee complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees, encouraging goal-setting and advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

This position involves working in an educational facility, which may include periods of reduced or no work during breaks (e.g., winter and summer).
