What You’ll Do
- Operating and managing flour mill and cleaning house activities during your assigned shift
- Running milling equipment at optimal performance levels to achieve maximum yields
- Maintaining wheat and flour inventories to required specifications
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed
- Ensuring compliance with GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, sanitation requirements, and all food safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment
- Completing production reports and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Participating in required training and development programs
- Serving as backup for the Head Miller and/or Mill Operator when needed
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance
- Performing other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in flour milling, food production, or manufacturing preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and perform job duties while wearing a respirator
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Understanding of material flow and manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to continuous learning
