Shift Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and process support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshoot Motor Control Centers and relays, solenoids and other complex fractional hp. electrical d.c. drives and a.c. frequency drives.
• Teach line operators preventative maintenance processes.
• Locate and replace defective components.
• Keep operations on track for operational plans by providing a safe, cost effective, and high-quality mechanic service.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience working with PLC’s and AC frequency drives.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Ability to program PLCs, troubleshoot and repair AC Frequency drives.
• Ability to stick (ARC) weld and use cutting torch and a VOM meter digital multi-meter.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Associate's degree or two-year technical degree in a related field.

12 hours shift, 36/48 schedule, Nights available ($0.75 Shift differential)
