About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Shift Mechanic located at our manufacturing facility in Tamaqua, PA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot all types of industrial equipment.
• Participate in repair, installation, rebuilding, and upgrading of systems.
• Possess knowledge that allows a comprehensive and thorough understanding of process controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair mechanical failures, replacing bearings, pulling motors, drives, and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Make safety the number one priority by driving safety initiatives.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalency.
• 3 years of progressive and related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Safety orientation, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Rigging and Welding experience with mig and arc welding machines.
• Basic experience with Automation and Robotics technologies.
