About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, you will ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers, manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and train crew members.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper food safety
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Help departments meet their goals and targets
- Manage crew and handle scheduling
- Train new and existing staff
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and evenings
- Must be 18 years or older
