Shift Manager (Retail/Gas)

About the role

Assists in planning, managing and directing retail store operations dealing with merchandising, selling, stocking, promoting and reordering of goods. This can be a fast-paced environment, so ability to be flexible with job requirements is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, managing and directing retail store operations
• Assists in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory
• Evaluates and enhances customer service and customer satisfaction
• Supervises, trains, develops and schedules associates for current positions and future growth
• Maintains compliance, as applicable, in loss prevention, accounting, money transfers, internal controls, environmental issues and EPA/environmental agencies/organizations policies, procedures, rules and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience in retail store operations within the last two years is required
• Supervisory experience
• Advanced computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience with ordering and receiving preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, reach, stoop, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to pass food safety certification and fuel certification within 60 days of hire
• Fuel management compliance within 3 months of assuming position

Schedule

• Rotating 5am-8pm, Saturday-Friday, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Schedule subject to change with proper notice
• Extended duty hours / varying work schedules
• Shift work 24/7, 365 days/year

Pay

$20.60 - $34.46 per hour
