Shift Manager Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Develops the Shift Master Plan and 90-Day Plan to address losses and build capability along with future growth
• Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate Daily Management System
• Provides On the floor coaching of equipment owners across all shifts
• Anticipates change and develops plans to effectively implement change
• Makes quick and effective decisions, and accepts responsibility for those decisions and delivering on the commitment
• Conducts associate performance reviews, development planning and impact sessions
• Drives Team Engagement

Requirements

• Understand and operate in various areas of the plant
• Be willing to cross-train in managerial areas of the plant
• Be a member of the site’s Food Defense Team

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent, AND 5+ years' experience in leadership capacity working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical/business related discipline, AND 10+ years' experience in leadership capacity working in a manufacturing/industrial environment in various roles with increasing responsibility, preferred
• Working knowledge of other departments (Safety, Engineering, P&O, Quality, R&D, etc.) and their relationship to Manufacturing
• A thorough knowledge of good personnel practices
• Recognition of different perspectives and ability to interact with healthy challenge
