Key Responsibilities
- Develops the Shift Master Plan and 90-Day Plan to address losses and build capability along with future growth
- Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate Daily Management System
- Provides On the floor coaching of equipment owners across all shifts
- Anticipates change and develops plans to effectively implement change
- Makes quick and effective decisions, and accepts responsibility for those decisions and delivering on the commitment
- Conducts associate performance reviews, development planning and impact sessions
- Drives Team Engagement
Requirements
- Understand and operate in various areas of the plant
- Be willing to cross-train in managerial areas of the plant
- Be a member of the site’s Food Defense Team
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent, AND 5+ years' experience in leadership capacity working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical/business related discipline, AND 10+ years' experience in leadership capacity working in a manufacturing/industrial environment in various roles with increasing responsibility, preferred
- Working knowledge of other departments (Safety, Engineering, P&O, Quality, R&D, etc.) and their relationship to Manufacturing
- A thorough knowledge of good personnel practices
- Recognition of different perspectives and ability to interact with healthy challenge
