About the Role
Shift Managers are the operational leaders who drive our business daily. As Manager-on-Duty, you are accountable for driving onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. This role is ideal for leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy developing people, and are looking for a clear pathway into higher-level operational leadership. Shift Managers rotate through defined areas of responsibility to build well rounded leadership, business, and operational skills.
What You'll Do
Lead Operations
- Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards
- Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion
- Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through
- Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness
Coach and Develop Teams
- Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards
- Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members
- Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability
Uphold Safety & Brand Standards
- Model company values and enforce policies and procedures
- Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately
- Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards
Rotational Leadership Focus Areas — To support leadership development, Shift Managers rotate through the following focus areas:
- People & Staffing Leadership — Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance
- Sales & Training Leadership — Team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps
- Operations & Tunnel Leadership — Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience
- Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results
- High integrity and professionalism
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style
