Shift Manager - In Room Dining - Full Time

About The Role

The In Room Dining Supervisor assists the Manager In Room Dining in overseeing the day-to-day management of the In Room Dining Operation.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
• Responsible for controlling labor and other operating costs
• Trains and evaluates all In Room Dining personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
• Facilitates communication between various hotel, casino Departments and the In-Room Dining and Amenity Department to ensure courteous and prompt service
• Ensures sanitation compliance throughout In Room Dining
• Handles customer complaints
• For compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility

Shift Assignments

Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays

Essential Functions

• The ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp
• Must be able to walk and stand for entire shift
• The ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• The ability to sit and work from a computer for extended periods
• The ability to read "fine print" areas of invoices and contracts
• The ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs

Requirements

• Three to five years' experience in full-service restaurant management
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)

Pay

Pay Rate: $50,000 annually.
