About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Supervise restaurant employees to ensure they provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and food preparation processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Handle cash transactions and manage employee schedules.
• Conduct daily operations, including opening and closing the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve issues and improve service.

Requirements

• A high school education or GED.
• A valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Motivated and service-oriented personality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred but not required.

Skills
