About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Assist in managing the restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee the preparation and service of food and beverages to guests
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper ordering and storage
• Handle cash transactions and manage the restaurant’s financial responsibilities
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments within the organization
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced service environment is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
