About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Supervise restaurant employees
• Assist the management team in maintaining a positive work environment
• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manage inventory levels and food preparation
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Train and develop employees
• Conduct shift handovers and communicate effectively with other managers

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
