Shift Manager

About the role

The position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance during the shift, take corrective actions as needed, and ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness, and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Train crew members and manage staff scheduling.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and enthusiasm for the fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions.

Qualifications

Applicants should be available for all shifts and weekends.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
