Shift Manager EVS

About the Role

Responsible for managing the work activities of environmental services personnel. We believe that team member engagement is the basis for a great culture and superior guest service. During every interaction, we display three behaviors:

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safety program to ensure all team members have a safe work environment
• Frequently update yourself on new products and materials for continuous operational improvement
• Maintains the approved preventative maintenance program on all equipment
• Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Maintains an inspection program for all EVS responsible areas
• Proficiently utilizes program to submit, track, and follow-up on work orders
• Conducts inspections on all casino and non-gaming EVS areas daily
• Trains employees in proper procedures, cleaning, and safety programs
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to do the work of those supervised
• Excellent communication skills and strong time management skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical and Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk, hear; walk and stand
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to sit; or stoop
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor under frequently fast-paced work conditions
