Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Aid in managing shifts towards achieving sales and profit goals.
• Execute Arby’s Systems daily to maintain a clean, organized restaurant ready for service.
• Ensure team members receive necessary training.
• Work positions to serve guests effectively.
• Operate according to established performance, profit, and operating standards.
• Supervise and motivate team members to perform at their best.
• Show a good understanding of all equipment and take responsibility for its preventative maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by leading by example.
• Utilize management tools to keep accurate records and provide historical data for planning.
• Communicate openly and honestly with subordinates, superiors, and others regarding plans, progress, and issues.
• Create an atmosphere of teamwork and commitment to company objectives.
• Increase sales and make a profit.
• Show flexibility to exceed expectations beyond the scope of this position description.

Requirements

• Preferred: 6 months of experience in the restaurant industry.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stack cases of product, and move them in the walk-in cooler/freezer to ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO).
• Some lifting may be required at shoulder height in the walk-in cooler, freezer, storage areas, and for setting up/moving equipment.
