Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee various tasks such as planning for shifts, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Planning and monitoring shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Maintaining inventory and performing daily maintenance and cleaning.
• Managing crew and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meeting and exceeding targets set for the shift.
• Helping departments meet their goals.
• Ensuring safety and security measures are in place.
• Training new employees as needed.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A flexible schedule and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.
