Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various responsibilities, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor each shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Maintain safety and security protocols.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s targets during their shifts.
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew effectively.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
