Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Planning and monitoring shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
• Maintaining inventory and performing daily maintenance and cleaning
• Managing crew and ensuring they meet McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meeting targets and helping departments meet their goals
• Ensuring food safety and exceptional customer service
• Managing crew and maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Providing training to new and existing staff

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a dynamic workplace
• Age 18 or older

Qualifications
