Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and assisting departments in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Monitor and address safety and security concerns
• Help departments meet their goals and targets

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic workplace
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
