Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meeting targets during their shift
• Helping their assigned Departments meet their goals
• Ensuring food safety
• Managing inventory
• Maintaining daily maintenance and cleanliness
• Controlling quality food production
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Ensuring safety and security
• Scheduling staff
• Training crew members

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage a team and handle various tasks
• Flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions

Qualifications
