Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability within the restaurant.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets set during their shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
• Be responsible for food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Manage the crew and handle exceptional customer service issues.
• Manage scheduling and train the crew.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience required.
