Shift Manager

About the role

This job posting is for a Shift Manager position at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability during the shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during your shift and assist in meeting department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew and train them.
• Monitor food safety and quality production.
• Handle scheduling and staff management.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
