About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high quality, service, and cleanliness, and managing various aspects of the restaurant's operations.
Responsibilities
- Planning and monitoring shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to McDonald’s standards.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
- Ensuring inventory management and daily maintenance of the restaurant.
- Managing crew and other managers to achieve departmental goals.
- Communicating effectively with the next shift manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meeting and exceeding targets set for the shift.
- Handling food safety, internal communication, and managing crew.
- Producing exceptional customer service and managing safety and security.
- Scheduling staff and managing their availability.
- Providing training to new and existing staff members.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Flexibility with a schedule.
- Must be 18 years or older.
