Sheriff's Records/Warrants Assistant I/II
for section headings. We need to include sections only if there is real content. Likely sections: About the role (or About The Position), Responsibilities (Examples Of Essential Duties), Requirements (Minimum Qualifications, Other Requirements, Special Requirements maybe), Skills (maybe knowledge/abilities), Benefits? Not present. Pay: yes there is pay ranges for I and II. Schedule: shift info present. Benefits: not mentioned. So include Pay and Schedule sections.
We must not repeat job title as heading. The page already shows it, so we don't add a heading for job title.
We need to preserve all substantive information. Remove boilerplate: contact recruiter line at top, supplemental info contact, application instructions, EEO, etc. Also remove "Meet the Team!" maybe it's substantive? It describes the office; could be considered part of About the role? Might keep as part of About the role. But "Meet the Team!" is a heading but we should not create headings unless we have content; we could incorporate that paragraph into About the role.
We need to include Pay section with the salary ranges. Provide both I and II.
Schedule: shift details.
Responsibilities: list of essential duties.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications (options), Other Requirements, Special Requirements maybe combine.
Skills: Knowledge and abilities list.
We must use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. For prose use
.
We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We need to ensure we don't include duplicated lines.
Let's extract content.
About The Position paragraph: "The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to fill a Sheriff's Records/Warrants Assistant I/II position to perform specialized clerical duties in support of the Information Services Bureau. The incumbent will be responsible for accessing and updating booking charges and other crime statistics in the law enforcement tracking system, understanding specific law enforcement laws, codes, rules, and regulations, and interpreting and applying this knowledge to a variety of legal documents and transactions."
Then after that there is Pay info.
Then "The incumbent must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays." Then shift details.
Then "Competitive candidates will have 4 or more years of clerical experience, which includes maintaining specialized law enforcement records (processing legal and/or court documents, such as subpoenas, restraining orders, warrants, court orders, or police/arrest reports, etc.). Experience utilizing the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications is desired but not required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply."

Then "ALL OPTIONS Knowledge of: ... Ability to: ..."
Then "Competitive candidates will have 4 or more years of clerical experience, which includes maintaining specialized law enforcement records. Experience utilizing the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications is desired but not required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply." (duplicate)
Then "Other Requirements License/Certificate: Possession, and maintenance throughout employment, of a valid California Driver's License. Must possess sufficient typing skills to complete 35 net words per minute and be able to file both alphabetically and numerically."
Then "Environmental Conditions" paragraph.
We need to decide sections: About the role (maybe combine About The Position and Meet the Team). Responsibilities (Examples Of Essential Duties). Requirements (Minimum Qualifications, Other Requirements, Special Requirements). Skills (Knowledge of and Ability to). Pay. Schedule.
We should not duplicate the competitive candidates line; we can include it once maybe under Requirements or Skills.
We must not include boilerplate like "For questions regarding this position, please contact the Recruiter listed in the Supplemental Information section." Remove.

- Graveyard: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM Every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday.
We should ensure no duplicate content. The "Environmental Conditions" paragraph we omitted; is it substantive? It describes working conditions. Could be included under a section like "Working Conditions" but we don't have a heading for that unless we create a section. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could incorporate into About the role or Schedule? Might be okay to omit as it's not critical? But we must preserve ALL substantive information. So we need to include it somewhere. Could add a paragraph under About the role or maybe a separate section "Working Conditions". Since we already have many sections, maybe we can add a brief paragraph under About the role after the Meet the Team paragraph. Let's incorporate.
Add after Meet the Team paragraph: "The incumbents will be working in a general office environment which may require standing, sitting, talking, and listening for prolonged periods of time. Incumbents may be required to work mandatory overtime, rotating shifts, and holidays and may work 10 or 12-hour shifts."
We'll include that in About the role.
Now ensure no duplicated lines: we have "Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays." appears in Special Requirements and also in Schedule paragraph. That's okay; it's not duplicate exactly but appears twice. Might be considered duplicate but it's substantive; we could keep both but maybe we can remove from Special Requirements to avoid duplication. However Special Requirements also includes multi-task and typing skills. We could keep the shift line only in Schedule
. We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We need to ensure we don't include duplicated lines. Let's extract content.
