SHEQ Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a EHS/Safety & Quality Compliance Specialist to support site safety programs, maintain ISO aligned quality systems, and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily plant walkthroughs, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Plan and execute internal audits for ISO 9001/14001/45001; support external audits.
• Maintain procedures, work instructions, and audit records.
• Deliver or schedule safety and quality training for employees and contractors.
• Manage onboarding, permits, and compliance checks for contractors.
• Support CAPA, 5S, and process improvement initiatives.
• Aid with OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years in SHEQ, EHS, or Quality within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 required; ISO 14001/45001 preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Certifications such as ISO Internal Auditor, OSHA 30, or ASQ are a plus.
