About the role
The Shelter Operations Technician is responsible for managing day-to-day operations within the shelter facility, ensuring the safety and comfort of all residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shelter operations including meal preparation and distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and order in shelter facilities
- Ensure resident safety and security
- Communicate with residents and staff to address concerns and provide support
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role or relevant field
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
Skills
- Basic computer literacy
- First aid/CPR certification preferred

Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
