Sheeting Operator I

Position: Sheeter Operator I Location: Batavia, IL Shift: 2pm-12am (Monday - Thursday) Pay Rate: $21.15 Summary Description The Sheeter Operator I supports sheeting operations by preparing materials, assisting with machine setup, and ensuring smooth production flow. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards and supporting downstream printing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing Assist with make-ready and setup of the sheeterPrepare rolls for production, including staging, loading, and threading through tension rollersInspect rolls prior to sheeting and report non-conforming materials to QualityStage completed loads for the printing operationMaintain a clean and safe work environment, including completion of sweep sheetsFollow all safety and operational proceduresAssist with basic maintenance tasks as neededPerform additional duties as assigned by leadership We’d Love to Hear From You If You can speak, read, and write in EnglishYou have 2+ years of manufacturing experience (preferred)You have a strong sense of urgency and are self-motivatedYou have mechanical aptitudeYou have solid problem-solving and decision-making skillsYou work well in a team environmentHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Candidates who demonstrate the necessary manufacturing experience and the required literacy, numeracy, and technical skills will be considered regardless of educational background.
