About the Role

The Group Leader‑Sheeting provides guidance to employees in the department in the Supervisor’s absence and ensures safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform duties in adherence to GMP guidelines.
• Read work orders to determine that properly pre‑formed products are produced.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Communicate information as needed to employees, shift supervisor, next‑shift group leader, or machine operator.
• Ensure high levels of production, maximizing efficiency with planned work assignments.
• Maintain a clean work area ensuring a safe working environment.
• Train new operators as needed.
• Oversee general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Operate equipment as necessary to maintain productivity during the operator’s absence.
• Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment.
• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system, and job reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.
