Responsibilities

- Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components. - Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finishing materials. - Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling as needed. - Utilize basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases. - Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English. - Assist in supervising crews and setting project priorities as directed.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License preferred. - Valid driver's license for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory). - Prior experience with sheet metal work is preferred. - Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Reliable transportation to work daily. - Comply with FAA guidelines and follow company safety rules. - Maintain customer-oriented work habits. - Lift up to 50 lbs, walk, bend, squat, sit, climb ladders, stairs, and work in small spaces. - Perform tasks requiring understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines. - Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation. - Work professionally with others.

Qualifications

- Basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures, reading blueprints, and working from drawings. - Fastening systems, procedures, and techniques. - Basic computer skills. - Effective communication skills. - Physical ability to perform tasks in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations and varied positions in and around aircraft.
