Responsibilities
- Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources.
- Read complex blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
- Solve complex job-related problems or bring solutions to the project manager and/or director of operations.
- Serve as a liaison with client representatives.
- Attend all project meetings.
- Perform safety talks and maintain check-in sheets.
- Maintain tool inspection reports.
- Submit employees’ (permanent and temporary) time to the office.
- Perform performance reviews for employees on the project.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with sheet metal lay-out and installation.
- 1-5 years of experience managing projects and personnel.
- Must be able to work with a variety of tools.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
Physical Demands
- Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing.
- Constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping.
- Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Material handling: lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs., frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., and constant lifting up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment
- Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, and atmospheric conditions.
- Exposure to electrical shock, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid conditions, and vibration.
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts and working in high-exposure places.
