Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and secure HVAC equipment and duct systems according to plans and specifications.
- Fabricate and fit sheet metal components including ducts, fittings, and transitions.
- Assist with layout, measurement, and material preparation.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance as directed.
- Work under the supervision of the HVAC Supervisor to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Support other trades and crew members as needed to complete project goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC installation or sheet metal work.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or drawings.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in HVAC and sheet metal work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in a variety of construction environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade school or apprenticeship experience in HVAC or sheet metal.
- EPA certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.
