About the role
The Sheet Metal Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation and repair of sheet metal components in commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Directing and coordinating the activities of sheet metal workers and apprentices.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Estimating project costs and timelines.
- Communicating with clients and project managers to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal work and management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and codes.
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Experience with project management tools.
