What You'll Do

• Assist and remove sheared post from the T-Post line
• Crop shears the ends of the T-Stock to ensure highest quality
• Utilizes straightener and visually evaluates straightness of bar, making adjustments as needed
• Move materials and supplies as required using forklifts
• Ensure the quality of sheared posts
• Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
• Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
• Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
• Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE
• Be alert of unsafe conditions at all times and report them immediately

What You'll Need

• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Able to stand for up to 12 hours and perform frequent physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, and reaching to work with equipment throughout the shift.
• Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
• Able to work overtime as required, including planned schedules and unplanned emergency situations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Your Education

A High School Diploma or GED is required.
