SharePoint Help Desk Specialist

About the role

ITCON Services is seeking a motivated and customer-service oriented SharePoint Help Desk Specialist to join our growing team. The individual will work closely with the SharePoint team and support SharePoint end-users as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 support representative. This position provides the opportunity for further career growth in SharePoint technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 SharePoint Online and Applications Support
• Provide training to end users (Webinars, one-on-one, group)
• Design sites using out-of-box SharePoint Online features
• Support Knowledgebase by creating blogs, newsletters, and quick tips
• Create and update Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for O&M tasks
• Perform minor UI/UX changes and reports using Power Platform
• Test custom solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of higher education, professional training, and additional experience)
• 2-4 years of prior Customer Support experience
• Experience creating training material for end users (Webinars, one-on-one, group)
• Experience creating SOP and knowledgebase material
• SharePoint Online experience including creating and maintaining sites, Webparts, Lists & libraries, Web pages, and custom permissions
• Experience using JIRA
• Experience testing custom solutions
• Attention to detail and thrives in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States

Qualifications

• Power Platform and Office 365 certified (desired)
• Familiar with website layouts and HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (desired)
• Prior Federal Government contract experience (desired)
