SharePoint Administrator/Developer
About the role
The SharePoint Administrator/Developer will provide technical expertise supporting and administering SharePoint environments for a large user community. This includes performing application administration and maintenance, upgrading SharePoint environments, migrating SharePoint applications to future versions as needed, recommending and implementing enhancements and improvements, developing and maintaining SharePoint application sites, pages, templates, apps, dashboards, and workflows, establishing custom data feeds and application program interfaces, incorporating content and design changes to SharePoint front pages and executive-level sites, providing SharePoint project management, requirements gathering, and application development, developing and documenting configuration and change management processes, and developing and maintaining knowledge articles for the knowledge portal.
Responsibilities
- Perform SharePoint application administration and maintenance
- Upgrade SharePoint environment and migrate SharePoint applications to future versions as required
- Recommend and Implement SharePoint enhancements and improvements
- Develop and maintain SharePoint application sites, pages, templates, apps, dashboards, and workflows
- Establish custom data feeds and application program interfaces
- Incorporate content and design changes to the SharePoint front pages and executive-level sites as directed
- Provide SharePoint project management, requirements gathering, and application development
- Develop and document configuration management and change management processes
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles for the knowledge portal
Requirements
- BD and 0-10 years of relevant experience preferred
- DoD 8570.01-M/8140 Compliant SharePoint Online experience required
- SharePoint migration experience required
- .NET, C#, and SQL experience a plus
- Hands-on experience of application development using API, Web Services, Workflows (SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio), Web Parts, and InfoPath heavily desired
Qualifications
- Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment
- Security Clearance Secret level required up to Top Secret
- Live within 75-mile radius of Redstone Arsenal
Physical Demands
- Regular i3 hours are 800 a.m. - 500 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion
