Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments, ensuring reliable performance and security.
- Manage site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, workflows, metadata, and content types to support business needs.
- Monitor system health, performance, and storage usage, implementing corrective actions and optimizations when needed.
- Develop and maintain governance standards, policies, documentation, and best practices for system use and security.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint issues related to access, functionality, integrations, and performance, providing timely resolution.
- Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions, pages, custom views, and automation workflows (Power Automate, InfoPath, PowerApps, etc.).
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SharePoint solutions.
- Oversee user onboarding, training, guidance, and serve as the subject matter expert for SharePoint functionality.
- Manage integrations with Microsoft 365 tools, Teams, OneDrive, and third-party applications.
- Cook up updates, patches, and system migrations to ensure continuity and platform optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on SharePoint administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server (2016/2019), Microsoft 365, and related services.
- Experience managing permissions, site structures, search configuration, versioning, workflows, and governance.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
- Strong understanding of security practices, compliance, and data governance in SharePoint environments.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex SharePoint issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting end users and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft Purview.
- Familiarity with SharePoint migrations using tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or SPFx for customization.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator).
