SharePoint Administrator
GDIT is seeking a SharePoint Administrator / Knowledge Management Specialist to support SOCOM, contributing to challenging projects and advancing a rewarding career. This role involves designing, maintaining, and operating medium to large SharePoint structures while ensuring system reliability and user requirements are met.
About the Role
As a SharePoint Administrator / Knowledge Management Specialist, you will play a key role in SharePoint infrastructure administration, custom workflow creation, and business process analysis. Your work will include system implementation, testing, and sustainment of hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and operate medium to large SharePoint Farms, including infrastructure administration and supported technologies.
- Create custom workflows and conduct business process analysis, mapping user and functional requirements.
- Perform system implementation tasks, including conceptual and detailed design, configuration, requirements analysis, and testing.
- Review and recommend software applications, identify hardware characteristics, and evaluate add-on devices.
- Manage systems monitoring, sustainment, hardware repair (servers, PCs, peripherals), and software installation/maintenance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot military networks, with specialized experience in:
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010/2013 or later
- SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 or later
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 or later
- Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Microsoft Active Directory Federated Service (ADFS)
- Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008/2012 or later
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Active Directory
- Collaboration, portals, enterprise search, enterprise content management, business data catalog, and shared services provider.
- Develop and assemble custom Web Parts, particularly for Enterprise Search functionality and UI customizations.
Requirements
- Associate of Science degree.
- 3+ years of related experience (5+ years preferred).
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (required).
- US citizenship (required).
- Preferred certifications:
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM)
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) – SharePoint & SharePoint Server
- Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) – SharePoint Administrator

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $88,130 - $103,500, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
Schedule
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
- Travel required: Less than 10%.
- Telecommuting options: Onsite.
- Work location: USA NC Fort Liberty (additional work locations may apply).
