Shared Living Provider - North Andover Area

About the role

This position allows you to work from home while providing care, a social and engaging life for an adult with cognitive disabilities. As a Shared Living provider, you will welcome an individual into your home, helping them integrate into family and community life. Riverside Community Care offers ongoing support to both the individual and the provider family, believing that individuals thrive in a family home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments.
• Administer medication as needed.
• Offer social and engaging activities to promote a fulfilling life.
• Integrate the individual into your home and community life.

Locations

Opportunities are available in Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, Haverhill, Dracut, and Boxford, MA.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; past experience is helpful but not mandatory.
• Willingness to provide a supportive, family‑like environment.
• Ability to dedicate an extra room in your home.
• Commitment to participate in training and ongoing support provided by Riverside.

Pay

This is a stipend‑based arrangement determined by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) based on the level of need of the individual supported. Stipend amounts vary accordingly.
