Shared Living Provider - Boston Area

About the role

Riverside’s Shared Living program matches adults with developmental disabilities with welcoming individuals or families in their community for long-term, in-home placement. The goal is to integrate the individual into the provider’s home and community life, fostering meaningful relationships and independence. Riverside provides training and ongoing support to both the individual and the provider family.

The individual will live in your home and require assistance with meal preparation, transportation to medical appointments, and medication administration. Past experience is helpful but not required.

Opportunities are available in the following locations: Boston, South Boston, Dorchester, Quincy, Milton, Canton, Dedham, Needham, and Newton.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and supportive home environment for an adult with developmental disabilities
• Integrate the individual into your family and community life
• Assist with meal preparation, transportation to medical appointments, and medication administration

Benefits

• Stipend-based compensation determined by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) based on the level of need of the individual supported
