Shared Living Caregiver (Falmouth, MA)

About the role

The caregiver will move in with, live and care for a person with disabilities in their home in Falmouth MA. Responsibilities include planning and cooking meals together, participating in community and social activities, providing transportation, scheduling and overseeing medical care and appointments, supervising daily activities such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and budgeting. Emotional and behavioral support may also be provided.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are single, couples, families, people with or without children and pets. No previous experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Non-smoker preferred
• CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and National Fingerprint check required

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage household finances
• Knowledge of medications and first aid

Pay

The range is $27,618 to $96,677 annually. Stipend rates are contingent upon assessed needs of the person and subject to state approval. Stipend levels 18 through 21 are available only by special application to the purchasing governmental unit.

Hours vary based on the individual's availability and the needs of the person they are caring for.
