Shampooer/Floor Care Attendant

Job Specifics

Clean offices, rooms, and public areas to standard.

Works with various departments, especially Engineering.

Responsible for completing special projects that maintain and create a product that exceeds guest expectations.

• Extensive use of cleaning equipment such as carpet, floor polishing, pressure washing machines etc.
• Ensures adherence to Loews Hotels Star Service standards.
• Handles assignments in a timely manner and follows up with leadership team.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned which may include cleaning of guest rooms as a Guest Room Attendant. Performing duties of a Houseman or any task needed in the administration of housekeeping services as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Dedicated professional working at the highest standards of quality service and staff development
• Minimum two years Housekeeping or related experience with cleaning equipment
• Outstanding communication skills – oral and written
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk during entire shift and to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs.
• Good visual acuity
• Self-starter and good organizational skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use Resilient Floor cleaning/polishing and carpet shampoo equipment
• Knowledge of and ability to use Pressure washers, Street sweepers, Scrubber machines
• Extensive standing, walking, lifting and bending
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to communicate well in conversational English
