SFGR Haunted House Host - $ 15/HR

Responsibilities

• Guide guests into the Haunted Attraction safely.
• Keep guest safety and satisfaction in mind by guiding guests to the entrance or exit, maintaining order in lines, and answering questions.
• Purchase and wear Park-approved Fright Fest red polo, black pants, and appropriate shoes.
• Speak to large groups of guests to inform them of the rules of the Haunted Attraction.
• Ensure Scare-Actors’ safety by escorting them through the park, ensuring safe interaction between Scare-Actors and guests, and handling any issues that may arise.
• Diligently follow all scheduled meals and breaks.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean work environment for the Haunted Attraction, break area, makeup area, and Show Wardrobe.
• Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in the Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.
• Train new personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum age 16.
• Availability to work evening shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Able to speak to large groups of people and provide instructions & Haunted Attraction spiels.
• Able to stand for the length of the shift.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Professional, self-motivated, able to multi-task, and have an enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others.
