Haunted House Host - $15/HR

Responsibilities

• Help guide guests into the attraction.
• Keep guest safety and satisfaction in mind by guiding guests to the entrance or exit, maintaining order in lines and answering questions.
• Must purchase the Park approved Fright Fest red polo and wear black pants and appropriate shoes.
• Must be able to speak to large groups of guests to inform them of the rules of the Haunted Attraction.
• Hallucinated Attractions will stay open and in operation until the Supervisor has followed the last group of guests through.
• All employees must remain in their positions and perform their duties until dismissed by the Supervisor.
• Keep the Scare-Actor’s safety in mind at all times by escorting Scare-Actor through the park both on stage and backstage, ensuring safe interaction between the Scare-Actor and guests, keeping track of Scare-Actor and handling any issues that may arise in an appropriate manner.
• Diligently follow all scheduling in regards to meals and breaks.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean work environment for the Haunted Attraction, break area, makeup area, and Show Wardrobe.
• Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in the Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.
• Train new personnel as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 16
• Must be availability to work evening shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Must be able to speak to large groups of people and provide instructions & Haunted Attraction spiels.
• Must be able of stand for the length of shift.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
