About the role
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a mix of customer-facing interactions, administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm, using clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Manage customer flow efficiently to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary, working closely with leadership.
- Promote alterations services and personalize options to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the alterations area.
- Perform duties as assigned by the store manager, including inventory management and cash wrap activities.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store setting.
- Prior sewing experience is helpful.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with a POS (Point of Sale) system.
