Sewing Instructor (In-house)

About the role

Join our in-house training team and help others learn sewing and quilting in a fun, creative environment. Teach classes for students ranging from novice to confident beginner, assist with product selection, collaborate on developing our training program, and sew class samples.

Responsibilities

• Teach sewing and/or quilting classes for varying skill levels
• Assist students with product selection
• Collaborate with the shop owner and other instructors to develop the in-house training program
• Sew class samples

Requirements

• Excellent math skills
• Comfortable with computers
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and lift/carry up to 25 pounds
• Available to work some evenings and weekend days
• Patient, helpful, and sincere customer service approach
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
• Fun, friendly, and outgoing personality
