Sewer Collections Technician

About the role

The City of Loganville is seeking a full-time Sewer Collections Technician in the Utilities Department. The position involves regular maintenance, repair, and installation for the Wastewater System. There may be occasional weekend and holiday work required, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair sewer systems
• Install new sewer infrastructure
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
• Perform routine inspections and monitoring of wastewater systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• At least two years of related experience in sewer maintenance or similar field
• Knowledge of plumbing and wastewater systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and equipment
• Ability to operate heavy machinery

Pay
